Vintage Sudlow’s Burslem England 4-Piece Burgundy & Gold Tea Set 0657 C
Vintage four-piece tea service by Sudlow’s of Burslem, England, featuring a deep burgundy glaze with freeform gold-colored decoration and gilt accents.
The coordinated set includes a round teapot with lid, a tall lidded serving pot, a small creamer, and an open sugar bowl. The underside is marked “Sudlow’s Burslem Made in England” and appears to carry the hand-painted pattern number 0657 C.
The set displays well but shows age-related wear throughout, including glaze crazing, scratches, rubbing and loss to the gold finish, darkened areas, and general surface wear. The teapot has especially visible crazing on its underside and body. Please review the close-up photographs for the most accurate representation of condition.
A distinctive English pottery set for display, tea-themed decor, or a vintage tableware collection. Because of its age, crazing, and unknown prior use, it may be best treated as decorative unless independently verified as suitable for food service.
