Vintage Walt Disney Productions Mickey Mouse Child Apron PAT. PEND. Heart Flap

Vintage child-size Mickey Mouse reversible cobbler apron or art smock featuring an unusual heart-shaped flap with a concealed patent-pending marking.

One side displays a classic red, white, and blue Mickey Mouse graphic marked “© Walt Disney Prod.” beneath Mickey’s shoe. The opposite side reads “I Love Mickey Mouse” with heart accents. A striped heart-shaped flap is finished with red rickrack trim and a red button.

Hidden beneath the flap and directly above the button is a blue “PAT. PEND.” marking. This appears to relate to the apron’s novelty flap or reversible construction. The associated patent, manufacturer, and exact production date have not been identified.

The apron has an over-the-head cobbler-style shape with open sides and striped fabric ties. It measures approximately 12 inches across and 12 inches long, excluding the ties.

Pre-owned vintage condition with visible age discoloration, scattered marks, fading to the graphics, loose threads, fraying around the heart flap, and wear to the striped trim. Please review all photographs closely.
